GPX export · In development
We’re building a way to select your saved hazard reports and export their locations as a GPX waypoint file for compatible mapping apps.
Keep the hazard type, observation time and report context with each waypoint. Imports are snapshots: corrections and changing conditions will not update automatically in another app.
App and device compatibility testing is pending. Imported points are observations, not safe routes or a safety clearance.

ICESIGNAL / OPEN ICE INITIATIVE
Created in memory of Jill-Hauck, mother of ICESIGNAL’s founder, whose dedication to helping others extended far beyond her career as an occupational therapist. At work, at home and throughout her life, helping people participate more fully in the world was her passion—and part of who she was.
Occupational therapy helps children and people with disabilities build skills and adapt everyday activities—such as dressing, learning, playing and enjoying the outdoors—so they can participate more independently.

We’re developing Open Ice to help make adaptive ice-fishing and winter outdoor experiences possible for people with disabilities.
The goal: bring together disability and adaptive-recreation organizations, resorts, volunteers, transportation, adaptive equipment and modern fishing technology to help remove barriers to participation.
Our initial planning focus is Michigan, Wisconsin and Minnesota. We’re building relationships now; events and participation details are still being developed.
